Creating a Homegrown and Homemade Life

Homemade Stocking Stuffers

September 20, 2023 by morgansfarmhouse Leave a Comment

Filling stockings for the whole family can be expensive. Oftentimes in an effort to fill each one, we toss in nick-nacks that will end up in the trash. This year, fill them with homemade stocking stuffers. I’ve included ideas for men, women, and children. There is something for everybody on your nice list.

Stuffed With Love

It never fails around Christmas time that there is a gift exchange happening or an unexpected gift from somebody. Or maybe even a stocking looking a bit empty. I love to give homemade gifts. The junk you get from the store will just end up in a donation box and there is nobody on earth that needs another Christmas cup. I like to give something simple yet practical so that I know they will enjoy it. After my panicked rush to the store today, I’ve decided that homemade gifts will be my go to from now on. The stress just isn’t worth it.

Fizzing Bath Salts

I like giving fizzing bath salts as a gift to both teens and adults. Women appreciate a sinus blend or a simple lavender. It turns the tub into a spa.

Working Hands Lotion Bar

If you are already making your own body products then you will likely have the materials on hand. The working hands lotion bars are a family favorite. If you don’t have a mold on hand, it can be poured into a mini muffin tin, silicone muffin cups, or even small mason jars.

Vanilla Extract

Little bottles of homemade vanilla extract are wonderful homemade stocking stuffers for any of the bakers or from scratch cooks. In fact, these might be showing up in my family’s stockings this year.

Peanut Brittle

Peanut brittle makes great, homemade, stocking stuffers. Although you might be hard pressed to find the raw peanuts at the last minute, this candy is a wonderful treat to share.

Holiday Poo Spray

If you have spray bottles on hand, then I highly recommend this funny gift. Any man is sure to get a kick out of holiday poo spray. With funny labels and festive smells, it will give everybody a laugh on Christmas morning.

Headache Balm

Headache balm takes only a few ingredients that you’re likely to have on hand if you make your own body products already. I found the containers at Hobby Lobby. The teens and adults will both appreciate these homemade stocking stuffers.

Homemade Stocking Stuffers for Kids

Bath Bombs

Bath bombs are so much for kids. You can make them in different colors and scents for a bit of variety. If you’re feeling extra, you could even hide little treasures inside that will float to the top when the bath bomb dissolves.

Boo Boo Buddy

For the littles on your list, use a  boo boo buddy as one of their homemade stocking stuffers. I’ve got 10 FREE animal templates for you to choose from. They don’t take long to make and are absolutely adorable.

Rag Doll

For the little girl who loves babies and needs something quiet to do at church, try a rag doll. This idea also works for older girls who love Little House. There is no sewing required for this project. You could make up a whole family in less than an hour.
