Ditch the Scents
Artificial fragrances contain toxic chemicals. Unfortunately companies do not have to reveal what exactly they put into something to create the fragrance. So therefore, we don’t know the side effects of each progress. But we do know the general ingredients and their side effects. Some of those nasty side effects include cancer, endocrine disorders, asthma, reproductive disorders, respiratory problems, and allergies. Since ditching the artificial scents, they now give me migraines.

DIY Gel Air Freshener Optional Additions
Flowers
Dried flowers, herbs, and fake flowers are beautiful additions to the DIY gel air fresheners. A sprig from the Christmas tree would make for a festive addition.
Lids
When it comes to lids there are some options. Amazon has some pretty vented lids. Or you could make your own by punching holes in a mason jar lid. Fabric is another option. You can tie it on or use a ring to hold it in place.
Color
If you want to add a bit of color to the jar try a couple drops of food coloring or mica powder. Natural dyes would also work.
