Most dog treats are the equivalent of junk food. They are full of nasty ingredients just like you’d find on the ingredients list of human junk food. Treat them with some sourdough dog treats instead! They will think it’s a special hand out if they are anything like my pup.

Do you need to use up those blueberries the kids loved last week and refused to eat this week? Make some sourdough discard blueberry bread for breakfast. It is soft in the middle with just a little crunch on the top. It’s a delicious breakfast, snack, or dessert.
Are those bananas your kids swore they would eat sitting on the counter going bad? Make up some sourdough discard banana muffins! It makes for a delicious, freezer-friendly breakfast. Don’t throw money in the trash, throw it in the oven instead!
It’s not Christmas without cookies to decorate! Get into the holiday spirit with some sourdough cut out sugar cookies this year. It makes the perfect holiday activity to do with the kids one afternoon. Or by yourself. We can all enjoy making cookies. They can be wrapped up as a gift for grandparents or other loved ones or eaten while sipping hot cocoa.
