Our Number 1 Rule
Every year I go over the number one rule with my students. That rule trumps all others. Don’t throw up in the classroom. They have permission to run in the halls, leave without permission, and not tell me where they are going if they feel the need to throw up. If I see a kid running for the bathroom, there will be no questions asked. Just please don’t throw up in the classroom.

Natural Remedies for Nausea: Essential Oils
Ginger and peppermint essential oils are great for nausea. Running a diffuser in your home, office, or car may help. I find ginger a bit strong for the car, so I usually go with peppermint.
You can also combat nausea with a roller bottle. I personally like my nausea relief roller bottle blend, but you can adapt it to fit your needs.
If you are battling nausea and can’t run a diffuser, try the next best thing. Use an inhaler to benefit from the aroma of lemon essential oil. The citrusy smell can sometimes help with nausea too. I have been known to keep one of these bad boys in my pocket.

Natural Remedies for Nausea: Homeopathy
We have all been there, especially around the holidays. For the times when you have eaten too much and made yourself sick take Antimonium Crudum.
Sometimes food isn’t the problem. It’s the car. If fresh air helps you feel better and or you also have cold sweats try Tabacum. You might consider keeping a bottle in your car if you are prone to motion sickness.
If you are sick to your stomach because of illness then I would suggest trying Nausea Calm. It has more than one ingredient so it covers all of the bases.

Natural Remedies for Nausea: Herbs
If you are feeling sick to your stomach, try chewing on a bit of ginger root. If the taste is too strong you could also try some ginger candy.
Sometimes it is difficult to stay hydrated when you’re sick to your stomach, especially if you are having trouble keeping things down. Peppermint tea might do the trick as far as natural remedies for nausea go in that situation. Herbal teas are hydrating and peppermint will help to soothe your stomach.
Licorice root has been used to help with nausea as well. Typically it is taken as an extract because you need quite a bit of the herb to get relief. The recommended dose of licorice root extract is 75mg twice a day.
