Although it feels nothing like fall right now, I’m dreaming of cooler fall weather. Inside we are enjoying some of our fall diffuser favorites. It matches the mood that the pumpkin decorations and soups for dinner create.

Fall is my Favorite
Ever since I was a kid, my favorite time of year has been fall. My mom used to make my brother and I giant leaf piles to jump in. We attended all sorts of fall festivals like Farm Girl Days and Prairie Days. The bluegrass music and old fashioned activities always got me excited. I’ve always wanted to have my own prairie dress and volunteer at the washboard or candle dipping station.
Whenever the pumpkin pies and apple pies arrive in store, you better believe they are going home with me. I just can’t resist. I even pick pumpkin pie instead of birthday cake. Plus there’s Thanksgiving food! Stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy make my food heart happy and my belly hungry. In fact, there’s a pumpkin roll in the fridge right now.
It’s also time for boots, jeans, and flannels. Something about it seems so cozy and warm. Cool evenings and yummy smells. Speaking of yummy smells, I love all things pumpkin scented, so you will find me sniffing every candle and soap in TJ Maxx. Although I don’t ever buy the candles to burn in my house, I do enjoy them at the store. I prefer to use my diffusers at home. That way I can enjoy fall smells without toxic chemicals. Another benefit to diffusing is that I can change the smells up whenever I want.

Fall Diffuser Favorites 1: Pumpkin Pie
This fall diffuser favorite smells just like pumpkin pie. My favorite fall blend from Revive is Pumpkin Pie, but to me it doesn’t quite smell like a pumpkin pie. So I added a bit of vanilla and viola, my house smells delicious!
5 drops Pumpkin Pie
1 drop Vanilla

Fall Diffuser Favorites 2: Fall Hike
Around here we have tons of fall festivals and activities. One of my all time favorites is Prairie Day at George Washington Carver National Monument. There’s bluegrass, period games, delicious pie, candle dipping, spinning, and lots of historical learning stations. Everything is spread throughout the park, which means you must walk the trail to experience everything. It’s my favorite place to go walking in the woods any time of year, but especially during fall. The leaves cover the ground. The fields are golden. It’s a beautiful fall hike. This blend reminds me of being there and all the happy memories I’ve had there.
5 Cypress
3 White Fir
2 Cedarwood

Fall Diffuser Favorites 3: Fallen Leaves
At one time, we had nearly 100 trees in our yard. That meant during fall, every outdoor surface was covered in beautiful leaves. Well except for the trees, which were completely bare after one good wind. The smell of the crispy, colorful leaves brings happiness to my heart.
3 drops Cedarwood
3 drops Frankincense
2 drops Sweet Orange

Fall Diffuser Favorites 4: Apple Cider
The smell of warm apple cider brings about happy fall memories. Although I do not like the taste of apple cider, I do love the smell. My mom would make it when company came over during the cooler months. I have a fall birthday, so the smell of apple cider and bonfires takes me back to many birthday celebrations.
4 drops Cinnamon
2 drops Nutmeg
1 drop Ginger
1 drop Lavender

The scent you had in the diffuser last week was amazing. Much better than the candles I have.
