Anybody else remember shaking a jar of cream and marbles as a kid? I can’t remember anybody ever actually making butter. Whipped cream at best. While fun, it was efficient. So as an adult, what if I taught you how to churn butter in a mixer instead? Your arms won’t get nearly as tired and there’s no chance of a marble breaking the jar.
So, you’ve bought the raw milk and now you need to skim off the cream. They make fancy machines, but unless you drink a lot of milk that isn’t necessary. You can learn how to separate cream from milk without any special tools, using things you likely have on hand already.
Seed oils have gotten a lot of bad publicity lately. So now everybody wants to learn how to render beef tallow in the Crock Pot. It is much healthier for you and makes some delicious french fries. Whether you want to use it for face cream or fried chicken the process is the same.
Are you still buying ranch seasoning packets from the store? It is full of nasty unnecessary ingredients. Unless you just enjoy “natural flavors”, MSG, and soy. Instead make your own homemade dry ranch seasoning. It’s got all the good stuff and none of the bad. It can easily be turned into ranch dressing, veggie dip, or used as a seasoning. Save some money and your health!
Do you wish you could make breakfast without having to stand at the stove and dirty every dish in the house? Making oven scrambled eggs helps cut down on your hands on time in the kitchen. They also are perfect for making breakfast sandwiches because you can cut them out to fit on the sandwich.
