Creating a Homegrown and Homemade Life
I love gardening, but I hate all of the pests. And even more than the pests, I can’t stand all of the chemicals used to get rid of them. The whole point of growing vegetables at home was to avoid chemicals. So I’ve been using essential oils for pest control in the garden.
Have you started planning your garden yet? I’ve already set up the greenhouse and filled it with seeds. This time of year often leaves me Googling if it is better to start seeds indoors or direct sow them. Unfortunately there isn’t a clear cut answer, but I’m here to help.
Deer are wonderful, but not in the garden. Nothing is more frustrating than tending to the plants only to come out and find them eaten up by the deer.
