Creating a Homegrown and Homemade Life
I love gardening, but I hate all of the pests. And even more than the pests, I can’t stand all of the chemicals used to get rid of them. The whole point of growing vegetables at home was to avoid chemicals. So I’ve been using essential oils for pest control in the garden.
Have you started planning your garden yet? I’ve already set up the greenhouse and filled it with seeds. This time of year often leaves me Googling if it is better to start seeds indoors or direct sow them. Unfortunately there isn’t a clear cut answer, but I’m here to help.
Did you know that you are supposed to rotate what type of plant you grow each year? Each takes something unique from the soil. Crop rotation will leave you with healthier soil, less pests, less disease, and more food! I will teach you the simple process of how to rotate crops.
