Could Burn Water Now Known as Martha
Growing up I was not interested in anything considered homemaking. If I thought it was “women’s work” then I refused to do it period. Then I got married and became a homemaker. At the time I could have burned water, but now I’m baking loaves of sourdough bread. I learned to embrace not only the label of homemaker, but what it meant as well.
Homemakers take a room and create a refuge. They take ingredients and turn them into meals. It means knowing where every lost sock is hiding and when the next appointment is scheduled. To be honest it’s exhausting. But it is some of the most rewarding work you’ll ever do.

Chainmail Scrubber
This handy little chainmail scrubber is great for scrubbing cast iron pans. It would make a great stocking stuffer, solo gift, or as part of a gift basket.
Danish Dough Whisk
A Danish dough whisk is meant for mixing up dough. It’s like a manual KitchenAid mixer. This is so unique, you can almost bet that the homemaker in your life doesn’t have one yet.
Lava Stone Bracelet
Lava stone bracelets allow you to wear essential oils without actually putting them on your skin. They are simple, beautiful, and smell amazing!
Angry Mama Microwave Cleaner
Although a cup of vinegar would also work, this angry mama microwave cleaner is hilarious. You microwave it and it steams to help the gunk wipe away easily. This would be a funny gift for any homemaking mama.
Jar Opener
This jar opener looks like a giant set of tongs. But instead of flipping steaks, it helps get a good grip on difficult to open jars. I think any woman would appreciate this, whether she’s a homemaker or not.

Nourishing Traditions Cookbook
A Nourishing Traditions Cookbook is a life changer. If any homemaker doesn’t have it, she needs it immediately. It will change the way she looks at food.
Apron
Although a very standard gift, an apron is my favorite on this gift guide for homemakers. It is very practical, but is also pretty. Aprons and homemakers just go hand in hand.
Glass Spray Bottles
Making your own cleaners is great, but glass spray bottles are expensive. I love my large, amber, glass, spray bottles. You could give them just as they come or fancy them up a bit. Use etching cream and stencils to label them. Or just fill them with your favorite cleaners. Pretty things make cleaning more enjoyable.
Wool Dryer Balls
Help your homemaker ditch the dry sheets with a set of wool dryer balls. Since switching, I’ve never looked back. Make sure to do a really good job wrapping them and have her guess what’s inside. I guarantee she’ll never guess.
Diffuser
Is there such a thing as too many diffusers? Instead of the traditional candle that she gets every year and never burns, try a diffuser. It could be one for the house or even a car diffuser.
Gift Guide for Homemakers- Under $50
Cast Iron Pan
Cast iron pans are like potato chips, you can’t have just one. The enameled cast iron dutch ovens are gorgeous. The traditional cast iron pans are functional and timeless.
Bathtub Pillow
A bathtub pillow is a complete luxury gift. There is no practicality to it. But I’m sure most homemakers enjoy a nice long soak in the tub.
Yeti Coffee Cup
The gift of coffee will be appreciated by the homemaker and those near to her. At least that’s how it is with my mom and grandma. A Yeti coffee cup will keep her coffee warm and let her take it on the go. Bonus points if you fill it with coffee beans.
House Shoes
House shoes are the most glorious thing ever for those cold mornings on tile floor. My personal favorites are from Land’s End. They’re leather with fleece inside. I can slip them on without any hands and they last forever.
Mail Sorter/Key Holder
Functional doesn’t mean it can’t be pretty. A mail sorter is something pretty and pretty useful. We love having a place to put keys, mail, masks, and the dog leash. It keeps us from losing things for sure.
Gift Guide for Homemakers- Over $50
Instant Pot
If there is a homemaker without an Instant Pot, help that poor woman out. It is perfect for cooking whole chickens, bone broth, and mashed potatoes. With an air fryer lid, it makes amazing chicken nuggets too!
KitchenAid Mixer
Every homemaker needs one of these too. A KitchenAid mixer can be used for so much more than just mixing. Did you know it shreds chicken in a flash? She will use and admire this gift for years to come.
Keurig
Back to the coffee thing. Keep her happy and caffeinated! Honestly we don’t even drink coffee, but use our Keurig almost daily. It can make hot water for tea, hot chocolate, or even iced tea.
Shoulder Massager
This is another gift that is not at all practical, but will be used and appreciated. A shoulder massager will help release all of the tension she holds and make a much more relaxed homemaker.
Pebble Ice Maker
This last one is expensive, but so cool. If she loves Sonic or Chick-Fil-A ice then she will enjoy having a pebble ice maker at home. This is truly a luxury item, but it will be the talk of the house come summer.
