Allergies come in all forms. Hives are one of the most annoying results of an allergy. There is little you can do to escape the itch. This hives roller bottle can help relieve the itching associated with the annoyingly itchy rash.

Be a Starfish!
Back in high school, I started breaking out in hives. My back would have red streaks and the itching would be miserable. Often my only relief was a cold shower or what became known as the starfish. I would put my arms out and stand in the middle of my room under the fan. With nothing touching me, including my own limbs eventually the itching would stop and the red streaks would go away. We have since discovered that gluten without sourdough was the problem.
Once in a while, I still break out in hives. This tends to be after I neglect my sourdough routine for more than a week. It’s no fun, but all it takes to solve it is a sourdough waffle. At the moment of the breakout, I need immediate relief. This is when I turn to the hives roller bottle for a little help.

Fractionated Coconut Oil
Instructions
- First add 5 drops of each oil to a roller bottle.
- Then top off the bottle with fractionated coconut oil.
- Finally put on the cap and give it a nice little shake.
- This hives roller bottle can be applied directly to the rash.
Diluting the Itch Roller
This roller has a higher amount of essential oils because it is not intended for long term use. This means that the dilution is 5%. If you need something stronger, you can safely double the amounts and go up to 10%.
For children between six and ten or elderly adults a 1% dilution ratio is safe. To do so, use only 1 drop of each oil in the roller. Another option would be to make a master blend of the oils and then use only 3 drops of the master blend in the roller bottle.
Using the Hives Roller Bottle
You can roll this hives roller bottle on hives or other itchy skin rashes. It does not take much rolling to take care of the bites. I just dab the roller on the rash and then rub it in with my finger.
Be careful when using this roller on a body part that will then be covered by clothing. Make sure to use just a dab of oil and rub it in with your finger. This will help avoid oil stains on clothing.
Storing the Hives Roller Bottle
Sunlight causes essential oils to break down over time. This is why most oils come in amber glass bottles. I recommend using an amber or cobalt roller bottle for this allergy blend. Even if you are using amber or cobalt bottles, it is still best to store the roller out of direct sunlight.
Essential oils can cause plastic to deteriorate. It is recommended that you store essential oils in glass containers to avoid any problems.
